How do I post an Ad?
Simply click on the "Post your Free Ad" button at the top right of the screen and follow the information to place your ad online. You have the option of posting the ad completely "FREE" or upgrading to promote your ad so it is more visible to others. Ensure all fields that are marked with an asterisk are filled in completely. Your ad will not be accepted without completing the all required form fields.
How long does my Ad stay on your site?
An Basic Ad stays on our site for 30 days. The ad can be re-submitted back on as many times as you like. Longer terms are available with our ad packages.
How do I input pictures for my ad?
When you click on the "Post your Free Ad" button, you will follow the information on describing your item, where it is located and the price. At the bottom of the information you will see a section on adding images. Simply click on the "Add photos..." to locate pictures of your item from your computer and our site will attach them to your listing. In order for the pictures to upload, they must be in JPEG, GIF or PNG formats and less than 5MB in size.
How many pictures am I allowed for each listing?
Each ad package allows for a certain amount of pictures. Refer to the chart of the options available on the "Create New Listing" page. The free Basic Ad allows you to add 6 photos at no charge.
Is my ad only viewable in the city or rural area I am located?
No. Simply post your ad and anyone across the world can view your information. By inputting your city, postal code and country, it will allow the viewer the ability to know where the equipment or farm land is located and filter by location.
Do I have to register on your account to post an ad?
Yes. This allows you to login each time and track, monitor and even make changes to your listings. You account information is confidential and will only be used by 411Farmnet.
What is not allowed for content on the website?
Because the website is strictly focused on farm equipment and farm land, we have the authority to block any ads that do not pertain to these topics. 411Farmnet reviews each ad before it is displayed to the public. Any ads that do not follow the guidelines of our terms and services will be prohibited. 411Farmnet will contact the seller by e-mail notifying the violation. If the seller posts 2 more additional ads that do not follow the guidelines, the seller will be blocked from submitting any further ads.
411Farmnet is proud to be part of the agricultural industry and to aid in creating awareness and building a strong farmer to farmer network. Unfortunately, as we are solely a farm equipment and farm land sales website, there are no farm animals allowed.
I forgot my username/password. How do I retrieve it?
If you forgot your password or username, simply click the "Forgot your password" link on the sign-in page to reset your password. You will receive an e-mail with a new password and you will be able to log back into your account. You will not lose any saved information or listings.
What is Trade-it?
Trade-it is a unique option available to our users. The trade-it option is an alternative to selling your farm equipment or farmland through the traditional methods on our site.
This option comes with a small fee, but allows the seller to link with similar buyers who are looking for similar equipment or farmland and would be willing to 'trade'. For example, you may be trying to sell your John Deere 9400 tractor and would like to upgrade but haven't had much luck selling it your existing equipment.
The 'Trade-it' option will show fields that allows you to fill in what you are looking for in an upgrade. Your information is then funneled out to buyers/sellers that have what you are looking for and puts you automatically in touch with them via email notifications.
The service provides an instant communication between two parties that then can negotiate a trade.

What is included in a Basic Ad?
This service gives full contact information, ability to view ad traffic, allows for a website link, bill of sale print out and all for FREE! You are allowed a maximum of 6 photos that can be attached to your ad. Basic Ad cost: FREE
What is included in a Deluxe Ad?
This ad gives everything the Basic Ad offers, but allows you to upload a maximum of 12 photos. This option gives you the seller more flexibility to sell your item faster! Deluxe Ad cost: $6.99/month
What is a Top Ad?
This option rolls everything in from the Basic to Deluxe while going to the next level to ensure a quicker sale. The Top Ad triples the photo uploads from the Basic Ad and offer higher visibility being placed at the top of the page for its specific category. Top Ad cost: $9.99/month
What is a Featured Ad listing?
The King of Ads! This option maximizes your photo uploads to 24 as well as gives you the ability to add YouTube video links of the listing! This option also promotes your item on the front home page and the 411Farmnet Social Media accounts for maximum exposure! Featured Ad cost: $16.99/month

What payment methods are available?
The acceptable payment methods are by Visa, MasterCard or PayPal account through the PayPal payment system. All payments are securely processed through this payment partner.

If my ad is removed, are my fees refundable?
In accordance with the terms and conditions of the site, all fees paid for features are non-refundable. If you have deleted your Ad or if the Ad was deleted for violating our policies, then any fees paid will not be refunded.
